Governance

The process, overseen by the Sustainability Committee, is a strategic exercise designed to identify material environmental, social and governance (sustainability) topics for disclosure and ongoing management by the business. The process draws on internal documentary sources and perspectives, as well as international sustainability reporting standards and corporate practice.
Topics will be assessed against views of the significance of the Company’s economic, environmental and social impacts incorporating outputs from:
- Internal and external stakeholder surveys
- Company risk registers
- Peer company disclosures
- Industry standards and frameworks relevant to the Company
- ESTMA Compliance: As a Canadian listed entity, the Company fully complies with the reporting obligations under the Extractive Sector Transparency Measures Act (ESTMA). We ensure that all eligible payments made to governments—both domestically and internationally—are tracked, independently verified, and published annually as required by Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) standards.
